Midvale Haunt offers a text-to-trigger feature that lets guests activate a live show effect from their vehicle by sending a text message to our dedicated show number.
What we collect: When you text our show-trigger number, we receive your phone number and message content solely to process your show trigger request in real time.
How we use it: Your phone number is used only to:
We do not store your phone number for marketing purposes, build a contact list from it, or use it for any purpose beyond this immediate interaction.
Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or message content with third parties, except as required by our SMS service provider (Twilio) to deliver the service, or as required by law.
Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Retention: Trigger messages may be retained briefly in system logs for troubleshooting and abuse prevention, then routinely deleted. We do not maintain an ongoing subscriber list.
Your choices: Text STOP at any time if you do not wish to receive the automated confirmation reply. Text HELP for assistance.

Service description: Texting the designated keyword or number to our show-trigger line will attempt to activate a live special-effects sequence at Midvale Haunt. Due to system cooldown periods (to prevent overlapping triggers), your text may not activate the show immediately if another guest has recently triggered it.
No guarantee of delivery: We do not guarantee that every text will result in a triggered show effect, due to factors including network delays, system cooldowns, or technical issues.
Message frequency: You will receive at most one automated reply per trigger attempt. This is not a recurring or marketing message program.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to stop receiving automated replies. Reply HELP for support.
Changes: These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version will always be posted at this page.
